  • Ingredients for papdi
  • 1 cupsuji(semolina)
  • 2 pinchsalt
  • as neededoil
  • as neededwater
  • for preparing dahi papdi
  • 1/4 cupsmooth dahi(yogurt)
  • 2medium boiled mashed potato
  • 1 tbspboiled black gram(chana)
  • 1 tbspchopped onions
  • 1/2 tspchopped green chilli
  • 1 tbspchopped fresh coriander & mint
  • 1/2 tsproasted cumin powder
  • To tastesalt
  • to tasteblack salt
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • 1 tbsptamrind chutney
  • 1 tbspsev bhujia for garnish
  • 1 tbspred chutney
  • 1 tbspgreen chutney

Steps

  1. 1

    First prepare the dough for papdi. For that take suji and add salt,oil and water to make stiff dough.

  2. 2

    Let it rest for 2 minutes and then roll out small thin papdi from it.

  3. 3

    Prick the papdi with fork before frying. Fry it till golden crisp and then let it cool in open.

  4. 4

    Now make stuffing. For that take mashed potatoes and add onions,boiled chana,cumin powder,salt,red chilli powder,green chilli,lemon juice and mix it nicely to make stuffing.

  5. 5

    Now place papdi in a serving tray and add little stuffing on the top of all papdi.

  6. 6

    Now add dahi,cumin powder, black salt,red chilli powder,red chutney,green chutney,tamarind chutney.

  7. 7

    Finally garnish with fresh chopped coriander and mint and some sprinkles of sev bhujia.

  8. 8

    It's ready to serve and make monsoon more spicy,flavourful and chatpata.
