First wash and chop the spinach finely. Keep aside. Cook the two dhal for 4 whistles with little turmeric add two drops of oil to the dhal before pressure cooking so that the dhal gets finely mashed and keep aside. Grind the coconut with jeera and chilli to a fine paste and keep aside.

Take a deep kadai heat it and pour in two spoons of oil, add mustard seeds and urad dhal and cook well. Now add chopped spinach with a pinch of sugar and salt as per taste. Cook the spinach well.

Now add salt to the cooked dhal mix well and add the cooked dhal to the spinach. Cook for a two mins. Now it’s time to add the coconut paste to spinach and dhal mixture and cook for another two mins and serve hot with rice. You can also serve pickles with it.
