Ingredients

30 minutes
2 servings
  • For tart mould
  • 150 gmall purpose flour
  • 100 gmchilled butter
  • 50 gmcastor sugar
  • 2-3 spoonsCold water
  • For mango custard
  • 1 litremilk
  • 4 tbspsugar
  • 4 tbspmango puree
  • 3 tbspvanilla custard powder
  • as neededMango essence
  • as neededChopped mango
  • For caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cupSugar
  • 2 tbspButter
  • 2 tbspCream

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    First make a puff pastry dough. With combining flour, sugar & butter with chilled water

  2. 2

    Keep the dough in refrigerator for half hour to set in a cling wrap

  3. 3

    Take out dough & make a roll out of it. Line on pastry moulds & blind bake for 10-15 min @ 180

  4. 4

    Nowin a sauce pan.add milk boil it for few minutes

  5. 5

    Add custard powder, sugar & mango puree in it. Set aside.Now add 1/2 tsp mango essence in it

  6. 6

    For layering. Take the pie tart base. Add caramel sauce on top of chopped mangoes. Now add a layer of mango custard in it

  7. 7

    Garnish with caramel toffee balls & strawberry syrup
