Steps

Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Add margarine,butter and rub with hands until the form breadcrumbs.

Add cinnamon.

Mix milk add eggs in a small cup and whisk well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and knead the dough till the dough is smooth then cover to rest 30 minutes for it to double in size.

Divide the dough into four equal sizes

Roll out one of the dough into your desired thickness.

Use a knife to cut the dough in triangular shapes and repeat the process until the whole dough is cut into round shapes.

Heat a heavy deep bottomed pan until the oil is hot. Drop the mandazi few at a time. Fry until golden brown. Put in large bowl covered with paper towel to drain excess oil and keep warm.
