Ingredients

  • 1 cupOats
  • 1/2 cupRice Flour
  • 1 cupCurd
  • 1 largeOnion
  • 1Tomato
  • 2tbspCoriander leaves chopped
  • 1Green Chilli
  • 2 pinchAsafoetida
  • 1/2 tbspSambhar Masala Powder -
  • 1 pinchBaking Soda
  • as per tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    First grind the oats in a mixer grinder. Chop the onion, tomato, green chillies and coriander leaves.Whisk the curd well.

  2. 2

    Add grinded oats, rice flour, asafoetida, curd and salt in a bowl. Mix it and then add sufficient water and make a smooth batter similar to a dosa consistency batter. Add baking soda to it, mix it and keep it aside.

  3. 3

    Heat a tawa on medium flame, add 1 tbsp of oil into it, pour a ladle of batter and spread a little bit.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle little sambhar masala on it. Top it with chopped veggies and gently press them.

  5. 5

    Cook until the base is done well and then flip it and cook it well from other side and then serve it hot.
