Mashed Potato Croquettes Stuffed with Ground Meat

Boil the potatoes for about 30 minutes, or until a knife easily pierces them.

Finely chop the green onions and sauté them. Add the ground meat, season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir in the can of liver pâté.

Once the potatoes are cooked, let them cool, peel them, and mash them with a fork until smooth. Mix in the egg until well combined. Line the sides of a small bowl covered with plastic wrap with the mashed potatoes, one at a time.

Fill the center with the ground meat mixture, then use the plastic wrap to shape each into a ball of stuffed mashed potatoes. Place each ball on a baking dish.

Mine didn’t turn out perfectly smooth, but it was my first time.

Top each with shredded cheese and place the baking dish in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) with the broiler on to melt and brown the cheese.
