Soak the chole in water for 6 hours

Put the cooker on the flame add oil then add chopped onion and fry till onion turns golden brown.

Add red chilli powder salt to taste and soaked chole after draining the water in the cooker and add little water then close the cooker

Let the cooker on full flame when first whistle blows lower the flame and leave the closed cooker on the low flame for fifteen minutes

After fifteen minutes put off the flame let the cooker cool and then open the lid and cook for five minutes your masala chole is ready to serve.

Garnish with coriander leaves and sliced cucumber
