Mix icing sugar and Maida seive together. Cut butter into small cubes. Rub it in maida mix with help of ur palms until u attain a bread crumb consistency.

If it doesn't bind well add 2 tbsp chilled milk. Make dough keep the dough in cling wrap and keep in freezer for 20 min.

By that time make the filling. Add 2tbsp butter in a wok when warm add walnuts saute for 2 min then add chopped apples and sugar. Cook for 5 min add cinnamon powder.

Add cake crumbs or dessicated coconut to make filling dry. Let it cool down.

Take out the dough from fridge and roll in a circle sheet not very thin arrange on a pie pan. Make small holes. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 20 min in till half done. U can even keep baking beans so that pie does not rise in centre instead of making holes

Keep the filling on pie base and cover it with the same dough in different designs. Apply milk wash. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for another 20 to25 min. Cut into pieces and serve
