Ingredients

8or10 servings
  • 1 (4 lb)whole chicken
  • 1 stickbutter
  • 1 tsponion powder
  • 1 tspCajun seasoning
  • 1 tspgarlic
  • 4 cansbuttermilk biscuits
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • Milk to thicken

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil chicken until it falls apart with dry ingredients and butter

    Remove bones of chicken

  3. 3

    Taste for seasoning add if needed

  4. 4

    Bring it up to a boil

  5. 5

    Add milk open biscuits

  6. 6

    Pinch small peices off of each biscuit roll lightly and drop in to broth try not to stir if possible

  7. 7

    Cook until dumplings are done about 30 minutes
