Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupUnsalted Butter, melted
  2. 3/4 cupBrown Sugar
  3. 1Large Egg
  4. 1 tspPure Vanilla Extract
  5. 1 cupAll-Purpose Flour
  6. 1/4 tspSalt
  7. 1/2 tspBaking Powder
  8. 1 cupWhite Chocolate Chips

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Butter or spray with a non-stick vegetable spray an 8 x 8 inch square baking pan.

  2. 2

In a small saucepan melt the butter. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  3. 3

In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.

  4. 4

Add the melted butter and the brown sugar to the bowl of your electric mixer (you can also make this recipe by hand with a whisk or a hand mixer) and whisk until well blended. Beat in the egg and the vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the flour mixture and mix until incorporated. Fold in the white chocolate chips.

  5. 5

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 - 30 minutes, or until the brownies are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow it to cool completely before cutting into bars.
