Masoor dal Tadka

Wash and disk daal for 30minutes. In a cooker add 2 bowl water and daal and boil it for 1 whistle. Keep the cooker aside.

In a pan heat ghee. Add cumin seeds when splutter add hing and then onions fry until light brown. Now add tomatoes and all the spices and cook till tomates soften and oil is separated.

Open the lid of cooker and check daal must be ready. Add tadka.

Now add chopped coriander leaves and serve daal with roti or rice.
