Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 cupsflour (changed from 3)
  2. 1 packagequick-rise yeast
  3. 3 1/2 tbspextra virgin olive oil
  4. 1 tspsugar
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 1 jarpizza sauce (14 oz)
  7. 8sliced mozzarella circles
  8. 1 packageSage (hand torn in 1 in pieces)
  9. 3 slicesprosciutto

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Slowly add 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 cup warm water while stirring by hand. Dough should be tacky, not sticky.

  3. 3

    Turn on broiler to High. Put cast-iron skillet in for about 6 minutes to warm up.

  4. 4

    Lightly flour a flat surface (countertop) and stretch out the dough with knuckles until it's slightly smaller than the cast-iron skillet.

  5. 5

    Remove skillet with oven mitt and put dough in skillet. Lightly brush dough with remaining olive oil and broil, until browned (about 4 minutes).

  6. 6

    Remove skillet and flip the dough. Top with 4 tbsp of sauce, cheese, and prosciutto.

  7. 7

    Broil until rust us puffed, cheese is melted, and prosciutto is crispy (2 minutes).

  8. 8

    Remove from oven and top with sage pieces. Optional: drizzle some olive oil and fresh or ground black pepper.
