Steps

Peel brinjal and cut into halves.

Cut potato halves without peeling.

In a pressure cooker add brinjal pieces and potatoes.

Add sufficient water and salt.

Cook on 5 6 whistles till done.

When whistles set itself take out and let it cool.

Now lighty mash with masher.

Take all achari spices in blender and blend to a fine paste adding water.

Heat 3 tbsp mustard oil, saute ginger garlic paste and chopped green chilli.

Saute for few seconds.

Add achari masala paste, little water and salt.

Cook till masala cooked well.

Add mashed brinjal potato paste and 1 tbsp of water.

Simmer for 5 minutes.

Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve with hot steamed rice.
