Put the daal, turmeric powder, salt and as needed water in a pressure cooker and give 2 whistles

Give standing time for 5 mins

Now, take a pan and put 2 tsp of mustard oil, bay leaves, red chillies, cumin seeds and hing powder and put the daal on it

Now, put 2 tsp of sugar and let it get cooked for a while and it's ready.
