Ingredients

1 serving
  • 3canned sardines in olive oil
  • Piquillo peppers, sliced (jarred or canned)
  • Mâche (lamb's lettuce)
  • Blockmozzarella cheese
  • 1 slicemixed-grain bread
  • Pedro Ximénez balsamic glaze

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and place the bread inside. The slice should be about 1/2 inch thick so it doesn't break. Toast for about 8 minutes.

  2. 2

    Remove the bread from the oven and cover it with a layer of piquillo peppers. Add some mâche on top, then place the sardines and mozzarella cubes over it. Drizzle with a little balsamic glaze.

    And it's ready!
