Ingredients

  1. for batter:
  2. 2 cupsbesan
  3. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. to tastered pepper powder
  6. 1/2lemon juice
  7. leavesGreen coriander and mint
  8. For potato pakoras ;
  9. 2-3potatoes sliced thin and soaked in salt water
  10. For mirch bada :
  11. 5-6thick grew chilli
  12. 2-3boiled potatoes
  13. 1finely chopped onion
  14. 2-3 clovesgarlic
  15. 1 inchginger piece
  16. 11green chilli
  17. to tasteSalt pepper, turmeric and dry dhaniya powder according
  18. 1 tspamchur powder
  19. 1 tbspoil
  20. leavesGreen coriander and mint
  21. 1 tspsaunf, ajwain, sabut dhaniya, jeera all
  22. Oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Make a slit in thick green chilli and de seed them and put some salt in them and keep aside for 1/2 an hour so they did not taste too much spicy

    Now take a bowl and mix all the ingredients of batter and add saunf, ajwain, sabut dhaniya and jeera seeds in it. Make a thick batter with the help of water and keep it aside for few minutes

    Take apan heat 1 tbsp oil in it. Splutter jeera, rai seeds and add finely chopped onions. Sauté for 2-3 minutes and now add ginger garlic paste and green chilli to it. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Add dry masalas to the mixture and cook well. After few minutes turn off the flame and let this mixture cooled. In the last add amchur powder and green coriander and mint leaves.

    For paneer pakoras cut the paneer in cubes. Cut each cube from center and put free chutney on it and cover it with other piece and make all the paneer pakoras like these sandwiches. Keep them also aside

    Now take a pan heat enough oil for frying. Wash green chillies with water. Put potatoes mixture around the chillies. Dip one by one chilli in the besan batter and fry them until they get golden colour.

    Drain out the water from potato slices and dip them also in the batter one by one and fry them until they get golden brown colour

    Now take paneer sandwiches and dip them also in batter one by one and fry them until they get golden brown colour.

    Now all your fritters or pakoras are ready. Serve them hot with tomato sauce and green chutney.

    You can serve them with tea or coffee also
