Mix gram flour,salt,turmeric and buttermilk in a bowl

Blend well

Add water and make a watery batter

Heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds and asfoetida

Pour batter and add fenugreek leaves

Cook for 10 minutes by stirring continuously

Switch off the flame.

Serve with rice or roti.
