Steps

Wash and cook the rice over medium heat without lid add oil salt and turmeric powder cook until almost done

Drain excess water and allow the rice to come to room temperature

In a large Pan melt butter and add onions stir fry until onions are translucent

Add ginger garlic paste and stir fry until raw Aroma goes away

Add tomatoes and cook until tender

Add green peas and mix well

Using potato masher mash the vegetables well

Add lightly mashed potatoes and mix well

Add capsicum and saute for 2 minutes.capsicum should retain the crunchy taste

Add red chilli paste, salt, water and pav bhaji masala. Cook for 4-5 minutes

Add lemon juice and mix

Add cooked rice and gently mix without breaking grains

Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with raita
