Ingredients

  1. 4 lbpork spare ribs
  2. Salt and pepper
  3. 2onions, quartered
  4. 2green apples, quartered
  5. 1/2 headred cabbage, cored, halved and sliced into 1/4" sections
  6. 1 tbspgrated fresh ginger
  7. 1 tbspolive oil

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9X12" baking pan.

  2. 2

    Season the spare ribs with a little salt and pepper and place in the pan.

  3. 3

    Distribute the onions and apples evenly over the pork. Tuck bunches of the red cabbage into any spaces between the pork (do not spread cabbage out in a thin layer).

  4. 4

    Mix the ginger with the olive oil and spoon it over the ingredients.

  5. 5

    Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Serve hot.

  6. 6
