Cone cakes

I had lot of cones and did not know what to do. Instead of throwing them away my granddaughter Kashi says lets make cone cakes instead of cup cakes. So here they are. They turned out so nice my husband gave us 10/10.

I had lot of cones and did not know what to do. Instead of throwing them away my granddaughter Kashi says lets make cone cakes instead of cup cakes. So here they are. They turned out so nice my husband gave us 10/10.
Steps
- 1
In a mixing bowl add oil and sugar and mix it. Add warm milk to it and mix thoroughly. The sugar should be dissolved.
- 2
In another bowl sieve the flour, baking powder and custard powder and mix them together.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and gently fold to make a smooth batter.
Preheat oven @180° - 3
Place the cones in a muffin tray and pour the batter into the cone.
Bake the cone cake in the preheated oven for 15mins. The timing may vary due to fan assisted ovens. Check at 15 mins onwards with a toothpick which should come out clean.
Remove from oven and let it cool. Decorate if preferred.
