Ingredients

  1. 1 tablespooncarrot finely chopped
  2. 1 tablespooncapsicum finely chopped
  3. 1/2 cupgrated paneer
  4. 1/4 cupspring onion finely chopped
  5. 1/2 cupcooked rice
  6. 1 tablespoononion minced
  7. 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper
  8. 1/2 teaspoonoregano
  9. 1chilli chopped
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 1/2 cupuncooked basmati rice

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    First wash and soak uncooked rice for 30 minutes.After 30 minutes drain water and spread rice on a cloth. Keep aside.

    In a mixing bowl add cooked rice and rest of the ingredients. Mix it nicely.

    Now wet your hands and take small portion from this mixture and make balls.

  4. 4

    Now take vegetable balls and roll them on soaked rice.The rice will stick to them. Now keep these rice coated vegetable flowers in steamer for 15 minutes.

    The vegetable balls will magically transform into beautiful colourful flowers.

    Let it cool for 5 minutes. Remove carefully and serve hot with mustard sauce or any Chutney of your choice.
