Ingredients

  1. 3 cupswhite flour
  2. 1/4 cupolive oil
  3. 1 cupmilk
  4. Pinchsalt
  5. 3 Tspsugar
  6. 1 Tspactive dry yeast
  7. 1egg
  8. 1 cupcrumbled white cheese , previously soaked for 15 minutes in hot water to get rid of extra salt . It can be replaced with Akawi salty cheese in case not available.
  9. 2 Tspghee
  10. 2 Tspblack seed
  11. 2 Tspsesame seed
  12. 2 Tspdied green oregano

Steps

  1. 1

    In electric standing mixer, add dry ingredients: flour oil, milk, salt and sugar.
    Activate yeast by adding 1 tsp of it to 1/2 cup of lukewarm warm, cover and leave for 5 minutes until bubbly. Add to the flour mix.

    Mix very well for 15 minutes until smooth soft dough is formed. Cover and leave for one hour. Then, mix again while adding: white cheese crumbles, black seeds, ghee, sesame and oregano. Mix very well until combined.spread in a wide pan and let it rise again for another 1/2 an hour.

  3. 3

    Bake in a heated oven and then grill until golden. Rub it's surface with a little of olive oil. Serve immediately with strawberry jam and mint tea ..tasty❤
