Ingredients

  • For First layer- Peas halwa
  • 1 cupPeas
  • 1/2 cupSugar
  • 2 cupsMilk
  • 1 tspCardamom powder
  • 1 tspGhee
  • 2 tbspChopped dry fruits
  • For second layer - Rice kheer-
  • 1/4 cupRice soaked
  • 2 cupsMilk
  • Sugar 1/2cup or more according to taste
  • handfulDryfruits
  • 1 tspGhee
  • 1 tspCardamom powder
  • 4 tbspCondensed milk
  • For third layer- carrot halwa -
  • Carrot 1cup grated
  • 1/2 cupSugar
  • 2 cupMilk
  • 1 tspCardamom powder
  • 1 tspGhee
  • 2 tbspChopped dry fruits

Steps

  1. 1

    For first layer- peas halwa- Blend peas with little water.

  2. 2

    Heat ghee in a kadhai, add peas puree, saute well till raw smell goes.

  3. 3

    Add milk,cook till milk thickens, then add sugar,mix and cook till everything combines well and texture becomes dry.

  4. 4

    Add cardamom powder, chopped dryfruits, mix and switch off.

  5. 5

    For second layer boil milk, add soaked rice.

  6. 6

    When half done, add sugar, condensed milk(optional), cardamom powder.

  7. 7

    Finally garnish with ghee roasted dry fruits. Make it little thicker than the normal kheer

  8. 8

    For third layer-

  9. 9

    Heat ghee in a kadhai, add grated carrot, saute well till raw smell goes.

  10. 10

    Assembling- take short glasses. Layer with peas halwa, rice kheer and carrot halwa. Garnish with cherry and dryfruits. Serve chilled.
