Heat oil in the griddle/ tawa.

Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add chopped onion and saute till it turns translucent.

Add water and turmeric powder.

Next goes in the salt and chilli powder.

Add Besan (Gram Flour) in parts and keep stirring while adding it.

Cook for 1-2 minutes and serve with jawar bhakari
