Steps

Boil the kala vatana and pressure cook till 5-6 whistles.

Grind onions,ginger garlic, green chillies red chillies tomatoes and dry coconut to a fine paste.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add the paste and Saute till golden brown.

Now add the dry masalas. And cook till oil separates.
- 5
Add the kala vatana. Bring to a boil.
- 6
Serve hot with pav and farsan. Garnish with coriander leaves and chopped onions.
