Ingredients

1 gallon
  1. 1 lbground beef
  2. 3/4 cupchopped carrots
  3. 1 tspbasil
  4. 1 tspparsley flakes
  5. 3 cupschicken broth
  6. 4 cupsdiced potatoes
  7. 1/4 cupflour
  8. 1 1/2 cupscubed cheddar cheese
  9. 1/2 cupcubed Monterey Jack cheese
  10. 1 1/2 cupmilk
  11. to tasteSalt and pepper
  12. 1/4 cupsour cream

Cooking Instructions

    Brown ground beef and drain.

    Add chicken broth, potatoes, and carrots to beef

  3. 3

    Boil until vegetables are tender

  4. 4

    In a separate container, mix milk and flour until dissolved

  5. 5

    Stir flour/milk mixture into beef pot and allow it to thicken (cook approx 5 min until slight boil or simmer)

  6. 6

    Reduce to low heat and stir in cheddar and Monterey Jack cubes

  7. 7

    Add sour cream stirring well

  8. 8

    Stir in parsley, basil, salt, and pepper
