Cook 1 cup raw rice by adding each 1 cup of water and milk.

Heat ghee and fry broken cashews till slightly golden brown.

Add 2 cups of milk, bring it to boil.

Add cooked rice, again cook until smooth or till creamy texture.

Stir continuously in low-medium flame.

Add sugar and let it dissolves completely.

Add cardamom powder, raisins and stir well.
- 8
Serve in hot or cool.
