Heat the milk in a pan and let it come to boil.

Now add soaked rice in the boiled milk.

Simmer the milk and let rice grains cook.

After 15-20 mins in low flame, add the sugar.

Let the milk thicken and continuously stir it so that no lumps are formed.

Add makhane into it.

Add cashews and cook further till the rice is completely cooked.

Add cardamom powder for flavour.

Switch off the flame and pour into bowls.

Have it warm or refrigerate it if you like it cold.
