Ingredients

30 minutes
2-3 servings
  • For Parantha
  • 1 cupsattu
  • 250 gmwheat flour
  • 2 tspchopped onion
  • 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tspchopped garlic
  • 2green chilli chopped
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • as neededOil for fry
  • to tasteSalt
  • For chanadal
  • 2 cupboiled chana dal
  • 2boiled potatoes
  • 1bay leave
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1 tspchopped garlic
  • 1/2 tspfenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 cuptamarind juice
  • 2 tspoil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In a bowl mix sattu and all ingredients for paratha except wheat flour.

  2. 2

    In another bowl mix wheat flour, ghee, baking soda salt and required water and make a dough.

  3. 3

    Keep the dough at rest for 30 minutes covered with a towel.

  4. 4

    Than stuff the sattu mix in small ball which is made from dough.

  5. 5

    Make paratha with the help of roller

  6. 6

    In a pan brush oil and fry both side of paratha.

  7. 7

    For chanadal heat oil in pan add bay leaves, fenugreek seeds, garlic and saute for a minute. Add all masala and add boiled potatoes, chanadal

  8. 8

    Cook for 10 minutes and add tamarind juice. It is ready.
