Ingredients

  • 4 cupsself-rising flour (about 500 grams)
  • 1/2 cuptahini (about 100 grams)
  • 1/2 cupplus 1 tablespoon sugar (about 110 grams)
  • 2 teaspoonsground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoonground cloves
  • 1 cupfreshly squeezed orange juice (about 250 grams)
  • 1 teaspoonbaking soda

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients together. You may need to add a little more flour if the dough is too sticky.

  2. 2

    Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Shape the cookies into any shape you like.

  4. 4

    Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20 minutes.
