  • 3 cupsflour (about 375 grams)
  • 1/4 cupplain yogurt (about 60 ml)
  • 3 tablespoonsoil
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 tablespoonsugar
  • 1 teaspooninstant yeast
  • 2 tablespoonspowdered milk
  • Warm water, as needed for kneading
  • Filling
  • 2/3 poundfatty ground beef (about 300 grams)
  • 1onion
  • 2tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoonred pepper paste
  • 1 tablespoontahini
  • 1 tablespoonplain yogurt
  • Pinchsalt
  • Pinchblack pepper

Steps

    Knead the dough and let it rise until doubled in size.

    Prepare the filling and drain any excess liquid.

    Fill the dough rounds with the meat mixture.
