Mix flour, salt and oil in a bowl. Mix well. Add water little by little and knead it to a soft dough of rolling consistency. Cover and keep it aside for 30 minutes.

Add mushroom, cabbage, carrot and coriander leaves. Mix well and saute on high flame for 2-3 minutes.

Add salt, pepper powder and mix well. Turn off the flame and allow the stuffing to cool.

Making fried momos: Take the dough, knead it once more for 2-3 minutes. Pinch out small portion of dough and make small balls.

Take each ball, roll out flat as thin as possible into small rounds. Place 1 heaped teaspoon of filling on the center of the circle.

From one end start, making pleats or(use frame). Continue this process and at the end,join all pleats together at the center and seal at the top or give any shape. Press and twist it at the center so that it is properly sealed and the stuffing doesn't come out.

Prepare all the momos in the same way and keep them covered with a cloth to avoid drying.

Heat oil in pan. When the oil is hot enough, reduce the flame to medium and gently side in the prepared momos.

Deep fry the dumplings in medium flame until it becomes golden colour. Remove them from oil using a slotted spoon and place them on an absorbent sheet to drain excess oil.

Serve fried momos hot with red chilli sauce and tomato sauce.
