Kaanji (North Indian Probiotic Drink)

This is one of my favourite drinks and reminds of my childhood. I grew up seeing my grandmother making this in 5 liter jar and keeping it in the sun to ferment it (only in winters). From the very next day, us kids used to open the jar and see if the color has started changing or not.
It used to take about 5 days for it to ferment and post that we used to relish it with every lunch.
This was my very first attempt of trying my grandmother's recipe and it turned out quite very close to make me feel nostalgic :)
