Ingredients

  1. 1 lblean ground beef
  2. 1/2 cupbread crumbs
  3. 1egg
  4. 1 tspItalian herb seasoning or dried basil leaves
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. to tastepepper and garlic powder
  7. 1/2 cupraw long grain rice
  8. 1 can (15 oz)tomato sauce
  9. 1/2 cupbeef broth or water

  1. 1

    Preheat oven 375°. Combine the ground beef, bread, crumbs, egg, herb seasoning, rice, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well

  2. 2

    Divide meat mixture into 4 equal parts. Firmly shape each into a ball.

    Place into casserole dish

  4. 4

    Combine the tomato sauce and broth together. You can add a bit of rice if you want to. Pour over meatballs. Cover

  5. 5

    Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until rice and meat is done.
