Peel off the lauki and grate it. Add a little salt to the grated lauki and leave it for 5 minutes.

Now squeeze the lauki with the hands and remove all the water from it and keep the lauki in a bowl.

Cut the onions in small pieces and put them with the lauki in the bowl.

Now add besan, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt to it. Mix them well without using much water as lauki has already much water itself.

Keep the mixture aside for 5 minutes and till the time put the oil on medium flame for heating.

Put small amount of bhajiya mixture with the help of fingers or a spoon in the hot oil.

Fry them till they are golden brown and cooked well from inside.

Drain them on kitchen tissue after frying and sprinkle some chat masala over them.

Serve it hot with desired chutney.
