Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsuji
  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 4 cupswater or milk
  4. 2-3 tbspghee
  5. 1 tspCardamom powder
  6. as neededAlmonds for garnishing
  7. 1Smashed banana
  8. 1 piecebanana (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat ghee, roast suji till golden brown.

  2. 2

    Now add water or milk. Let it evaporate.

  3. 3

    Add sugar. Mix well and cook for sometime, as water is released after adding sugar.

  4. 4

    Add smashed banana.

  5. 5

    When the Suji halwa dries and leaves the sides. Add cardamom powder.

  6. 6

    Garnish with almonds and one pc of banana (optional)
