Crispy karela fry
It is light spicy with slightly bitter taste of karela
Steps

Rinse karela well. Lightly peeled the skin and slice the karela into thin round pieces.

Add salt and mix well. Keep it aside for 30 to 40 minutes.

Now squeeze the karela with your hands and remove the bitter juice from karela.

Heat the oil in pan. Add mustard seeds,cuminseeds,asafoetida,turmeric powder then add karela and mix well.

Stir occasionally. Cook it till the bitter gourd because crispy and brown in colour.

Add cumin seed powder, coriander seed powder, red chilli powder, mix well. Finally add roasted peanut powder and grated dry coconut mix well. Turn off the gas. Crispy karela is ready to serve.
