Add salt and oil in wheat flour.

Make stiff dough using water.

Cover it for 10 minutes.

Add 2 Tbsp Water in thick bottom pan and add jaggery in it stir continue.

When jaggery completely dissolve add grated coconut in it.

Keep stiring until mixture gets nice texture then add cardamom powder and saffron strands.let it allow to cool.

Take small ball of wheat flour dough and make small equal size puri.

Place some filling mixture on each puri...And fold nicely make equal size plits on it.

Preahet oven at 180°

Place all modak on parchment paper.and put it on a plate.

Now bake modak at 180°for 20 minutes.

After baking finished,place all modak on cooling rack.

Baked modak is ready.
