Ingredients

  • 1 cupwhole black urad
  • 1/2 cupRajma
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/4 tspred chilli
  • 1/4 tspgaram masala
  • 2chopped onion
  • 10 clovesgarlic
  • 1 tspchopped ginger
  • 2green chillies
  • 2tomatoes
  • 2 cupmilk
  • 2 tbsfresh malai
  • 1 glassbasmati rice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/4 tspred chilli

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak dal and rajma till 2hrs

  2. 2

    Put them in a cooker adding salt and lot of water

  3. 3

    After 1 whistle simmer it and cook till 1/2hr

  4. 4

    Open and check it

  5. 5

    Now cook without lid

  6. 6

    Add milk and stir well

  7. 7

    Cook till it becomes thick and mix well

  8. 8

    Heat desi ghee in a.pan

  9. 9

    Add cumin seeds

  10. 10

    Now add chopped garlic and ginger

  11. 11

    Cook it

  12. 12

    Add chopped onion

  13. 13

    Add chopped tomatoes and green chilli

  14. 14

    Now add red chilli

  15. 15

    Pour tadka in the dal

  16. 16

    Sprinkle garam masala

  17. 17

    Garnish with fresh malai

  18. 18

    Soak rice

  19. 19

    Heat oil in a cooker

  20. 20

    Put cumin seeds

  21. 21

    When crackle add rice.salt and red chilli

  22. 22

    Put 1 glass water

  23. 23

    Cook till 1 whistle

  24. 24

    Serve with dal
