Cut the paneer in cubes.

Heat a pan add 2 tbl spoon white oil and 1 table spoon butter.when the butter melted add bay leaf, cardamom,dry red chilli.after a min add ginger garlic paste and stir.after 4-5 mins add chopped tomatoes, green chilli and slightly salt and stir well and cover it. stir it after 5-6 mins and again cover it. After 5 mins again stir and turn off the gas.

When the cooked masala become cool now grind it make a smooth paste.

Now heat a pan add 2 -3 tbl spoon butter. Add 3 teaspoon coriander powder, 2 teaspoon red chilli powder stir well. After 3 mins add the paste and green chilli stir well. Cook it for 10 mins.

After 10 mins add cashew paste salt and sugar and cooked it for 5 mins.when the oil separated from the masala add 1 and half cup of water. When the water started to boil add paneer mix with the gravy and cover it for 10 mins

After 10 mins add crushed kasuri methi and butter. Now paneer butter masala is ready to serve.
