Ingredients

  • 2 cupchana daal
  • 2 tbspbesan flour (Bengal gram flour)
  • 4 tbsp Ginger chilli paste
  • 1"cinnamon stick
  • 2-3dried red chilli
  • 4 big sized chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2-3 tbspCurry leaves, Coriander leaves
  • as neededOil for frying
  • 1 tsphing / asafoetida

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a bowl soak chana daal for 2hrs. Now after 2hrs. Drain the water from from daal,Take 1|2 cup of chana daal and keep it aside and grind chana daal, cinnamon stick and dry red chilli roughly, without using water.

  2. 2

    Now in the grinded chana daal add all the remaining ingredients and also 1|2 cup chana daal kept aside.

  3. 3

    Now make thin tikki shape out of it and deep fry it.
