Ingredients: Tomatoes 250g (fresh, chopped); 200 ml Chicken stock; 1 onion (chopped); 1 garlic clove (minced); 2 tbsp tomato purée; 1 tbsp plain flour; 1 tsp sugar; 1 tsp Italian herbs; Splash oil; to taste Salt and pepper; 200 g cooked pasta; 1 tin drained tuna; 50 g mixed grated cheese; Sprinkle chilli flakes

This to be fair is one of those chuck it all in and see type recipes. I had tomatoes that needed using and fancied pasta so this is what I did! Turned out amazing!! 😋

Ingredients

Tomatoes 250g (fresh, chopped)
200 mlChicken stock
1onion (chopped)
1garlic clove (minced)
2 tbsptomato purée
1 tbspplain flour
1 tspsugar
1 tspItalian herbs
Splashoil
to tasteSalt and pepper
200 gcooked pasta
1 tindrained tuna
50 gmixed grated cheese
Sprinkle chilli flakes

Steps

Add oil, onion and garlic to a saucepan. Cook until softened. Add tomato purée, flour, Italian herbs and seasoning cook for a further minute. Add fresh tomatoes, sugar and chicken stock. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 15-20 minutes stirring until thickened.

Stir in cooked pasta then carefully stir in tuna so it doesn’t break up to much. Transfer to an oven proof dish then top with grated cheese and a sprinkle of chilli flakes

Bake at 200c for 20-30 minutes until golden and bubbly. Serve with garlic bread
