In a clean mixing bowl, put the flour then add the baking powder, sugar and salt. mix all round. then add in the ginger paste.

Using your hands rub in the margarine

Addin the milk and make a nice soft dough. leave to rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.

In a medium heated oil in a frying pan, dip in the dough pieces and let them turn golden brown on both sides

Serve as an accompaniment
