Steps

Clean and wash chicken pieces marinate with ginger garlic paste salt and pinch turmeric powder keep it aside.

Take 2 onion 5 tomatoes dry red kashmiri mirchi, green chilli,ginger garlic paste, black pepper,dalchini and cloves, 1 teaspoon Jeera,1/2 dry coconut (grated). Grind in to the fine paste.

Put one pan on flame add 2tablespoon oil add Jeera and finely chopped onion fry till onion turned golden brown colour now add grounded paste roast till masala cooked properly or raw smell disappears.

Now add red chilli powder turmeric powder and dhaniyajira powder roast till masala cooked properly.

Now add marinated chicken mix all the ingredients properly. Add required amount of water add salt.

Cover the pan and cook for 25 to 30 minutes.. keep checking chicken not to stick on bottom stirred in regular intervals.

When chicken fully cooked add chicken masala powder mix well again cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Sprinkle coriander leaves and turn off the flame. Chicken masala gravy is ready to serve.
