Instant moong dal halwa(sheera)

Heat the ghee in a pan on low flame. Add moong dal powder and roast it till it becomes golden brown and aromatic. Soak saffron strands in 1 tbs milk and keep aside.

Add milk and stir continuously. Then add sugar and soaked saffron strands. Mix it well. Cover it and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Remove the lid. Add finely chopped dry fruits and cardamom powder mix well. Switch off the gas. Instant moong dal halwa is ready to serve.
