Buttermilk roast chicken 🍗
Inspired by Samin Nosrat’s recipe this was the most tender roast chicken I’ve made.
Steps

The night before cooking place the whole chicken with the buttermilk and salt in a ziplock bag. Leave in the fridge to marinate.

1hr before cooking take the chicken out the fridge to reach room temperature.
- 3
Season the chicken and roast in the oven at 180c for 1 hr. Tip: put the legs at the back of the oven so they cook through.
- 4
Take out the oven and leave to rest for 15mins covered in foil. Carve and serve.
