Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 1/4 cupgrated beetroot
  2. 1 cupwater
  3. 1 cupkhoya
  4. 1/2 cupsugar or according to taste
  5. 1 table spoondessicated coconut
  6. 2 dropskewra essence
  7. Few pieces almonds

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil beetroot in water.

  2. 2

    Strain it.

  3. 3

    Now add sugar to beetroot water and make 1 string syrup.

  4. 4

    Add kewra essence to it.

  5. 5

    Now roast khoya in another wok.

  6. 6

    Add dessicated coconut into it.

  7. 7

    Now add beetroot syrup into it.

  8. 8

    Stir continuously till it become thick.

  9. 9

    Now pour this to greased plate

  10. 10

    Add almonds over barfi and cool it.

  11. 11

    Now cut into pieces and serve.
