This is a light South Indian recipe that goes well with Dosa/Idly/Rice.
Steps

Take a wide pan and heat 1 tsp of oil. Fry all the ingredients for the chutney powder till the chillies are crisp. Do not burn the chillies just changing the colour.

Transfer the mixture onto a plate and let it cool to room temperature. Make a powder adding a pinch of salt.

Add the roughly chopped tomatoes, and continue frying till the tomatoes are cooked.

Turn off the heat. Let it cool to room temperature.

Add the fried mash, tamarind pulp, Chutney powder to your blender and blend it to a smooth consistency. Do not add water.

Add salt if necessary according to your taste. Transfer it into a bowl and your radish Chutney is ready to serve
