California Farm Cornish Chicken Consommé for 2 California Farm Cornish Chicken Consommé for 2
A whole young, tender small cornish hen makes a great soup dinner for one, with a special flavorfull chicken broth called consommé.With these tender chickens, they are poached whole in boiling water, two hours, browned whole, then simmered longer and more delicately because of their tender taste, then deboned and served with soup vegetables and rice to make a Sunday delicacy. The meat, rice and jullienned vegetables are eaten with fresh handmade corn tortillas or fresh baked sour dough bread as a second course. Here is the family recipe.#globalcookpadgames2024 Hobby Horseman -

I was thinking of a dish to make with burdock root and I came up with soup. You can eat lots of burdock root if you use it in soup. The soup has a gentle taste so you can enjoy the deliciousness of the burdock root.If the taste is too weak for you, add an extra 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of consomme. The burdock root skin is the most fragrant part, so don't peel off. If you do, you will miss out on the nice aroma. Recipe by Kaiko cookpad.japan -
California Farm Quick or Traditional Capon Consommé California Farm Quick or Traditional Capon Consommé
Capons are large castrated roosters. They taste more refined than chicken. Consommé is a clear broth made from any meat, including capon, eaten as appetizer before dinner. It is made clear with eggwhite that absorbs any impurities in the broth, called “rafting”. We make quick Capon consomme in one hour instead of three hours by using the gizzard, liver, and heart of the capon, not the baked carcass. And add a shot of fortified Marsala wine. The traditional consomme recipe is also listed below. Hobby Horseman -

Steamed Cabbage, Onion, and Bacon in Consommé Steamed Cabbage, Onion, and Bacon in Consommé
It's a quick and easy dish you need when you don't feel like cooking, when you need one more side dish, or when you don't have time.I don't need a cutting board or a knife since I tear up the cabbage and bacon. We don't have a microwave, but if you use the microwave for the whole recipe, the only thing you need to wash might be a plate. You just need to cut the ingredients and put in a pot.It will be more delicious when you add an onion. I sautéed the onion first, and it made the dish taste much better. If you don't want to prepare the onion, I recommend using corn instead. Recipe by Kimaramutaki cookpad.japan -
