this is a traditional Marwadi recipe which is specially prepared during winter season. Moong dal is very digestible and methi/ fenugreek leaves are rich in nutrients and give warmth to body and protect from changing weather.
Steps

Fenugreek leaves properly in running water to remove any kind of the dirt

Remove excess water from fenugreek leaves with methi leaves and chop very finely
- 3
Wash yellow moong dal and soak in sufficient water for 10 to 15 minutes
- 4
After soaking remove excess water from dal
- 5
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds
- 6
Allow them to crackle and add asafoetida powder, chopped green chillies and crushed garlic, saute' for sometime

Now add soaked yellow dal and saute' for sometime
- 8
Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and chopped fenugreek leaves, adjust salt according to the taste

Mix well everything and cook covered for next 5 minutes

Tasty healthy Yummy Moong methi sabji is ready, lastly garnish with some chopped coriander and serve hot immediately with roti chapati or phulka endlessly without any fear
